adults – sunday mornings

We Call Our Sunday Morning Classes CONNECTING POINTS
When adults come together on Sunday morning in our Connecting Point groups they have several needs. One is to connect with God. Too much of our lives are spent racing from here to there and sometimes God gets left out of the mix. He wants to be more than part of the mix and we need Him to be. So, on Sunday mornings we are seeking to experience what it means to be vitally connected to Him.

.

One of the best ways to connect to God is to connect to His Word. Our Sunday morning Connecting Points are all about connecting with Scripture. This is our source of truth and wisdom, and our way of hearing the heart of God in it’s purest form. Learning how to mine the gold out of this book is a prime concern on Sunday morning.

.

Another way God has provided for us to connect with Him is to connect with each other. We are not to be only individually connected to God but a community of believers who reflect the multi-faceted grace of God. God has given us spiritual gifts and loving hearts to minister to one another. Expect to connect with others in your Sunday morning Connecting Points.

Finally, we must ultimately connect with God’s world if we are to follow His heart for people. Our Connecting Points will look for ways to move us out into the community (locally or around the world) to lovingly share the life-changing truth of Jesus Christ..

Connecting Point classes are available for adults at both the 9:25-10:40 and11:00-12:10 hours. These classes provide a great opportunity to learn more about God while building new relationships with others in the church. For diagrams showing room locations click here. .

To determine which class you want to try out, first determine what hour you want to attend worship service. This is usually determined by two factors:

.

(a) If you have children, which hour will they need to sit with you in the service? Up to grade 3 have classes for both hours. Grades 4-6 attend class either hour and worship service the other hour. Junior high goes to the 9:25 service and high school to the 11:00 service. Junior high and senior high staff sit with and watch over your kids both hours.
(b) Do you prefer the more traditional service (9:25) or the more contemporary service (11:00)?

.

Choose the Connecting Point class opposite the hour you attend worship service. Determine if you want a class geared to your age range or to a special need. Look for more information about each class following this listing. Click on the class name for more details.
