I AM A DISCIPLE OF JESUS

I AM A DISCIPLE OF JESUS CHRIST.

I WON'T LOOK BACK, SLOW DOWN, BACK AWAY, OR BE STILL.

MY PAST IS REDEEMED; MY PRESENT MAKES SENSE; MY FUTURE IS SECURE.

I'M FINISHED WITH LOW LIVING, SMALL PLANNING, COLORLESS DREAMS, TAME VISIONS, MUNDANE TALKING, AND CHINCHY GIVING.

I NO LONGER NEED PROSPERITY, POSITIONS, PROMOTIONS, PLAUDITS, OR POPULARITY.

I DON'T HAVE TO BE RIGHT, FIRST, TOPS, RECOGNIZED, REGARDED, REWARDED, OR PRAISED.

I NOW LIVE BY PRESENCE, LEAD BY FAITH, WALK BY PATIENCE, LIFT BY PRAYER, AND LABOR BY POWER.

MY FACE IS SET; MY GAIT IS FAST; MY GOAL IS HEAVEN; MY ROAD IS NARROW.

MY WAY IS ROUGH; MY COMPANIONS FEW; MY GUIDE RELIABLE; MY MISSION CLEAR.

I CANNOT BE BOUGHT, COMPROMISED, DETOURED, LURED, DELUDED, OR DELAYED.

I WILL NOT FLINCH IN THE FACE OF SACRIFICE, HESITATE IN THE FACE OF THE ADVERSARY, NEGOTIATE AT THE TABLE OF THE ENEMY, PONDER AT THE POOL OF POPULARITY, OR MEANDER IN THE MAZE OF MEDIOCRITY.

I WILL GO UNTIL HE COMES, GIVE UNTIL I'M EMPTY; SPEAK UNTIL ALL KNOW, AND WORK UNTIL HE STOPS ME.

I WON'T GIVE UP, SHUT UP, OR LET UP UNTIL I'VE STAYED UP, STOOD UP, PRAYED UP, AND PAID UP FOR THE CAUSE OF CHRIST.

Clouds

The clouds, they cover skies of blue, and dreams of loves in other hues.
Imagine, what might be back there! Scents and tastes we never knew.
Sounds from Heaven, faintly ringing, choirs of angels sweetly singing
The mysteries we dare believe as the misty clouds leave, bringing
Wispy winds, and darkened skies, a touch of light completes disguise,
The secrets hidden that no one knows, for they lay just beyond the cloudy skies.

Stolen Identity!
It happened on July 21, 1964,
the very day I was born.
"I've been robbed" I screamed out,
as the rest of the room mistook that cry of ' woe is me' as just that of a new born baby.
Our heavenly father identifies himself with me so that through him I am identified.
With this true feature of life,
I am now a new creature in Christ,
to be defined as refined.

"Who Am I"

My spirit is that of a Soldier of Eternity;
My visions are of as a Warrior in the fight for righteousness;
My flesh is that of a human being with disabilities that only God can correct;
And yes, I am a Knight whose soul shall last forever!
I have done many things,
I have learned from my mistakes,
but not before teaching them to others.
I have turned the other cheek,
while swinging the other arm.
I have loved with all of my heart,
and have despised with all of my might.
I have walked around as blind as a bat,
and yet I have still seen the light.
I have forgiven and forgotten,
as well, I have remembered and felt rotten.
I have approached with good intentions,
and departed having bad thoughts.
I have solved the puzzle,
and I have made things more complex.
I have no idea what's going on now,
but I know what's bound to be next.
I have welcomed strangers with open arms,
and I have turned away my own brothers.
I have even let it go in one ear,
and right out of the other.
I have done many things!

But through it all, I remain true,
True to the faith that through God all things are possible.
All things done in His name will have blessed results.
God is the almighty.
His powers; Creations; and Abilities, are Awesome; Miraculous;
and Incredible beyond all imagination.
Witnessing and experiencing the wonderful compassion of our Lord and Savior is such a fulfillment,
that without it I would surely have to ask myself…

Who Am I?

'The Knight of The Night'

"God Has"
God Has a plan, in which due time He will reveal
God Has commands too, which guidelines how we should feel
God Has a hand in the way that we will heal
God Has to take a stand, so that peace will be still.

It must be a matter of supreme importance,
if God has to call.
Just when our burdens become too much
We realize, God Has them all.

God Has this way of doing things,
That keep us all in awe
And still, in all His doings, in all He's said,
God Has no flaw.

Such a salubrious feel to have in faith,
That God Has our souls
We're safe, secure and right in place,
Because God Has control.

As we come together and unite in prayer
We know that God Has heard.
God Has promised; God Has delivered;
God Has always kept His word.
