God wants you to be part of His
family. He wants to be your spiritual Father, and you to be His child.
The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9-10
& 13, "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your
heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that
you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
The prayer that you pray to God is
not a standard prayer. It isn't the same for everyone. When you pray, you should tell God
that you do believe in Him and that Jesus is His son. You should also confess (that means
tell) God that you believe that Jesus died for you and rose again. You should thank God
for what He has done for you and ask Him to forgive you of the wrongs things, the sin,
that you have done. Tell God that you want Him to be a part of your life and that you love
Him. Use your own words when you pray to Him.
After you have prayed this prayer.
You will be a member of God's family, a Christian. You can be sure that Jesus will always
be with you helping you. After you have prayed this prayer, the next step is to tell
someone. God doesn't want you to keep this a secret. So tell a friend, or your parent, or
