Weight Room and Aerobics Program

Registration: Central's Family Life Center has a state-of-the art weight room, a variety of aerobics classes, and an indoor track and gym to help maximize cardiovascular training, enhance aerobic fitness, and improve overall health. An FLC membership is required for the use of these facilities. Memberships may be purchased, orientations scheduled and ID photos made at the FLC desk. For monitoring purposes, FLC members must check in at the FLC desk (with photo ID) on each visit.

Family Life Center hours:

Monday  7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday  7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. The gym only   closes at 6:30  p.m. on Tuesday nights.
Wednesday   7:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Thursday    7:000 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday    7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday    11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Membership

FLC memberships are offered to church members and non-members. Regular membership includes use of the gym, Kids Zone, walking track. Full membership includes use of the gym, Kids Zone, walking track, weight room, and aerobics classes. Childcare is available for an additional fee. Membership prices listed below are per year.

Membership Prices

Regular Membership:
Family, $75; Couple, $60; Individual, $40
Full Membership:
Family, $145; Couple, $120; Individual, $100

Weight Training Room
The new climate-controlled weight room features a top-of-the-line cardiovascular fitness area with three Vision Fitness treadmills, two Precor elliptical exercisers and one Precor recumbent bicycle. Also, there is a complete seven-station Cybex VR strength line for your strength training needs. The free weight area is well-equipped with benches, weights, bars and machines.

Weight Room Orientation
Weight room orientation is required before use of the facilities.
Weight room orientation schedule:
Tuesday 10:45 a.m.-11:15 a.m.
Wednesday 10:45 a.m.-11:15 a.m.
Thursday 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
By appointment.

Aerobics childcare is available:
9-12 Mon-Fri, and Monday and Thursday evenings 5:45 p.m. to 7:00p.m.

Indoor Track
Come enjoy our indoor track! Its comfortable and safe, plus it's climate-controlled all year long. The indoor track is located above the sanctuary. The track is designed for both running and walking for all users: the professional runner, the trainer, and the social walker. The track is a 2 lane, rubber sheet athletic flooring surface. One lap around the track equals 1/11th of a mile.

We need additional qualified aerobic instructors to teach in the Family Life Center. Please call 901-255-8150, if you would like to teach.
