We are in a 6-week study for fathers and sons that will coincide with the women's ministries mother/daughter study beginning this Sunday evening, June 22, and running through July 27.
Dr. Frey and I will be co-teaching the father/son study "Becoming A Man" in the senior high room from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. each Sunday. Sunday's session, June 29, will be from 3:30 - 5:00 rather than 6:30 - 8:00. Due to the nature of the study, we must limit the age of the sons to those 13-19.
We will be exploring together as fathers and sons what real manhood is and casting a vision for our sons on what it means to be a man according to God's design as set forth in Scripture.
Each session will begin with a 30-40 minute lesson followed by father/son discussion time.
The workbook for the study is $10 and will be available at the men's table Sunday morning as well as in the meeting area on Sunday evening.
If you and your son(s) are interested in attending this series, please contact the men's ministry office at 901-255-8175 or email genesauls@centralchurch.com today or Click here to register for Boy's Purity Bible Study.

A "Knight" to Remember
Our recent father-son Knighthood Ceremony allowed fathers to symbolically christen their sons as knights in service for Christ. It was a very meaningful time, conveying to the young men the significance of a lifelong commitment to follow Jesus.

February Men's Prayer Breakfast
Once again, both the bonds of brotherhood and our ties to Christ were strengthened through fellowship at our monthly Prayer Breakfast. We were honored to hear Mr. George Kuykendall, director
of Citizens for Community Values, speak on his organization.

Vehicles For Jesus (That is, for His needy ones)
If you know of a car that you think would be reliable transportation and would be affordable for one of our single women, or if you want to donate a car to Central for a single lady to drive, call Gene Sauls at 901-255-8175.
Men's Mentoring Ministry
Guys Learning, Understanding, and Equipping (G.L.U.E.) is the new mentoring/discipling ministry provided by Central's Men's Ministries.
Purpose of GLUE:To raise up wise and understanding men among us (James 3:13).
How:By Godly mentors investing their lives in the lives of other men.
Why:Because Christ commanded. Matthew 28:20
When:Immediately. The Way of Wisdom is open now.
Mentoring is a journey with another man (or other men) who wants to be a follower (disciple) of Jesus Christ. Few men become mentors because the task is demanding. However, the rewards are unbelievable. Consider today being a mentor.
If you would like to be mentored/discipled by a godly man, or if you would like to be a mentor, please contact the men's ministry office at 901-255-8175.
