Current responsibilities: Mr. Nair is the founder and director of Fiji College of Theology and Evangelism. For more than 20 years the college has trained evangelists from all over the South Pacific. Approximately 25 students complete the program each year. Plans are in development to upgrade the college library and faculty to offer Master of Theology and Doctor of Ministry programs.
Ministry news: Some months ago a young Hindu girl found the Lord in a local high school. Her parents and other relatives are very religious. Howerver, she began witnessing to her two sisters. Now all three of them are Christians and their parents have allowed them to attend one of our churches. We were told that there was a big dispute between the relatives about the three girls and their new found faith. In all this, the parents stood by their daughters and the girls are feeling that the Lord is working in their hearts too. (posted 12/17/2004)
Current prayer request: Pray for the staff and their families. Pray for Arthur, Vivienne and the boys who will be leaving next year to live in Australia. Pray for the students who will be coming into the program next year. (posted 12/17/2004)

Current responsibilities: Samuelraj J. P. Vijayakumar, or Vijay, has two major ministry thrusts and numerous secondary ministries:
- Village Ministry - Vijay has trained thirteen village gospel workers who are supported financially by Light of Hope to evangelize the villages in three districts in his state of Tamil-Nadu. They build relationships with people and leaders in the villages, show films, distribute tracts, do skits, and meet needs as ways of opening doors to evangelism.
- Light of Hope Retreat and Learning Center - On a beautiful and serene piece of land outside Madurai the Learning Center with dorm like rooms, a chapel and offices and library has been developed for the purpose of training men for outreach to the villages and pastoring churches. These young men are boarded and fed for free as they study. In addition, the dorms can be used for retreats in this tranquil setting.
- Evangelism through seminars and training programs, support of five independent church workers in smaller towns, Bible conferences and pastor's seminars, three times a year gospel presentations in 10-12 high schools and colleges throughout India, Bible and Christian literature distribution to needy individuals, and conducting city-wide crusades using preachers from other countries with follow up for those who respond to the gospel.
Current Prayer Requests:
(1) In June of '08 we lost support from several key churches due to changes in administration, financial recession, etc., which restricted our ability to support pastors and missionaries who depend on us. We need an additional $500 each month to make up this shortfall.
(2) One of our pastors, Duraichamy, who has been faithfully ministering many years in his village, has need of a new church building. We estimate the cost at $22,000. This would greatly increase his outreach in his area.

Ministry Overview: Simply put, CCC's mission is to Win, Build, and Send. We are apart of a worldwide ministry seeking to find those whom God has prepared to come into a relationship with Him and to share how that is possible (Win). A main focus is to train up new believers in their faith so that they will be equipped to walk with the Lord for a lifetime (Build). The greatest vision is to see those new believers become a part of the global sending movement by sharing their faith with those around them and with lost people around the world. We desire to see them be laborers in the harvest wherever they are and whatever they do (Send).
For the last 5 years, we have been reaching out to college students in East Asia and we are transitioning to be more a part of helping the regional team in reaching the vision God has placed before us on a larger scale.
