Current responsibilities: Gaetano (Guy) provides leadership, vision, and oversight for the continued fulfillment of the IFC mission statement, which is to present the Gospel of Christ to every Italian in this generation, in cooperation with local churches, through mass evangelism, leadership and publications. He seeks to give input to ministry team members, maximize opportunities to promote and raise funds, delegate ministry responsibilities and implement the ministry plan and budget.

Naples and Rome
Special Prayer Request:
On Friday Sondra and Gaetano will be preaching in the heart of SCAMPIA, the toughest area in Naples known for drugs, prostitution and violence. The little church there counts only 20 members but they are eager to share the gospel and asked IFC to be there for an evangelistic crusade.
We have gathered all the believers from the neighboring churches and got the main PIAZZA, the same one where Pope John Paul II spoke 15 years ago! This is an amazing task to be done. But we know God is able.
They really need prayers for protection but also for open hearts to fill that piazza. We want to see many needy sinners especially among the young people come to the saving knowledge of the Lord!

Ministry news: Dear partners,
On April 17th we witnessed an incredible miracle!
After 11 reports of events that we organized since January 2010 with many souls coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus, a dear sister who had the vision to have an event in Piazza Duomo in the strategic city of Milan contacted me. This piazza is the icon of the city of Milan!
The event, which has been done in Brazil for over 15 years, is called SOS FOR LIFE. This was the first time it was done in Italy. During the event there are several worship bands and testimonies of how God responded to the SOS For Life in the hearts of many people!
We went to the city of Milan and suggested the event as part of the city of Milan’s fare that brought to the city an incredible number of people from all over the world!
As you know our financial situation has been very fragile and only by God’s grace we are able to make payroll month by month! So it all seemed to be just a dream.
We are, however, dreamers of the day!
We contacted two nationally famous bands from Brazil and Hillsong from UK. They warmly accepted our invitation. The city of Milan made available all that was needed to have the LARGEST EVANGELICAL GATHERING ever in the nation of Italy!
The devil tried to poison the event with rain and confusion due to the ash cloud coming from Iceland that stuck people in airports for days. The Hillsong group drove all the way down and made it to the event only a few hours prior to the beginning of it!
When I walked on the stage and saw an oceanic crowd of over 20,000 people, I realized the promise of God that He is made strong in our weaknesses!
The event went from 7:30 pm to midnight. In between bands we played on the jumbo screen the interviews with notorious people I made for our TV programs. We had national soccer players sharing about their faith in Jesus and on video, the first evangelistic testimony of the number one soccer star Ricardo Kaka’! The crowd was enthusiastic and listened to every word being said.
During the event we distributed 10,000 Books of Hope and the local churches sent more than 150 counselors to follow up on the hundreds of people responding to the gospel message I gave just before midnight!
The Lord responded to the SOS For Life piercing countless hearts. The organizers, made available by the city of Milan, came in tears to me saying: "We never guessed that the purpose of the event was spiritual! Where have you guys been all these years? What you have shared touched our hearts and we want to come to Jesus!"
I think that what we have witnessed in Milan is proof that God can do so much even when we think we have so little.
It does not matter how many resources we have, but how willing we are to trust the Lord of resources, who uses a pagan city to provide a springboard for the gospel!
Not only that, but now we have a precedent to approach other cities with the same program and bring SOS FOR LIFE throughout Italy!
Already on May 17th, the athletes of Christ will have a similar event in the city of Bari.
It is exciting for IFC to produce events that are reproduced by the evangelical churches, making your investment a multiplication tool for reaching the lost!
Yes indeed, my dear supporter and partner, we can be thankful of how much the Lord is doing through our obedience and faith.
The Christian world is crying out for more funding in a time of crisis like ours, but we are witnessing that God reaches His purpose even when funding is not there because He holds the whole world in His hands and is eager to show His power through our limitations.
The verse I’d like to leave with you is this: "Not by might nor by power but by my Spirit says the Lord"!
