The Forever Young Senior Wish Organization is the realization of founder, Diane Hight. It is her desire to give Senior Adults the honor and respect they deserve by granting a longed for wish, providing a special opportunity, or giving an item that would make life easier or more comfortable.
Diane has been busy lately fulfilling wishes for local Seniors. Recently, she received a call from a lady who made a request for her friend, Marge, age 81. “Marge is an amazing lady and loves to have fun, but she was born paralyzed on her right side and has never been on a date. Do you think Forever Young could make this dream come true for her?” she asked. Forever Young found the perfect date - Daniel, age 25. Daniel picked Marge up in a limousine, took her to dinner at the historic Peabody hotel, and then on to the grand Orpheum Theater to see Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas.” Marge had an amazing evening. She said it was a night she would remember for the rest of her life.
Also, the foundation recently purchased a new mattress for a WWII veteran, flew a lady to North Carolina to spend two weeks with her dying son, provided another lady with a 100th birthday party, and arranged for a WWII pilot to sit in an airplane cockpit again.
The only criteria for receiving a wish from Forever Young are being at least 65 years old and having an unfulfilled dream. Therefore, if you want to have a wish granted, would like to recommend someone to receive a wish, or would like to help fulfill a wish, please call Diane Hight at 854-2207. Please pray for Diane as she and the Forever Young organization serve Christ by showing His love as they minister and make a difference in the lives of Senior Adults.
