Ladies Learning to Lean
A Sunday school class for women
After years of dedicated teaching and leading, Brenda Faulk and Bonnie Given felt the Lord leading them to a Sabbatical from the classroom. The Lord led a new teacher who had sensed His leading months earlier to teach another women's class to come to this class. Lynn Young is acquainted with the struggles of women who have known pain and difficulties. Many of the women who come to this class are there because they do not feel comfortable in a couples class or just because they enjoy being with other women who have hard lives and can understand. Lynn brings a bit different perspective to this class, one that will be a fresh way of looking at issues that women face. Her testimony will eventually become a part of that perspective and help her class deal with life in new ways.

The class is for ladies of various ages, marital status, career and life experiences. But they all love the Lord and are striving to know Him more intimately. Its purpose is to meet women where they are with the Word, with the compassion of a friends interceding for them in prayer. Its passion is to point women to the Lord, His plan, His way, and His purpose for daily living in victory, trusting Him for the answers and standing firm as a witness to others of what God is doing in their lives.
One member says what she likes about LLL is the way every woman is accepted, no matter her age or stage in life. "Although we have a great variety of personalities in our class, we share many of the challenges and struggles unique to women in today's society, but most of all we share the love of our Savior Jesus Christ on whose everlasting arms we are learning to lean."
The class meets at 11:00 in room 203 of the educational wing. Come in and learn to lean on His everlasting arms.
