On behalf of the Advisory Board and the Women's Ministries Board, we want to welcome you to the Women's Ministries of Central Church. Our theme this year is "A Disciple Puts Feet to Her Faith!" Our heart's longing is to minister to the needs of those in our church and community. We also desire to reach every woman for Christ and to see her become a fully devoted disciple of the Lord Jesus. We seek to grow in Christ, develop authentic friendships, and connect women to areas of service. Please look through
this brochure and find an area or areas of ministry in which you can serve the Lord with us. Then
click here to register for a Circle that best fits you so we may talk to you about serving with us. In Christ,
Ellen Olford, Director of Women's Ministries
Lynn Young, Chairman of Women's Ministries

Beautiful Offering by Angela Thomas:
Thursday Morning/Evening Bible Study has already started at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. We are also offering a Monday Evening session at 6:30 p.m. beginning September 13 (There is no childcare on Monday). We will be studying
Living Your Life as a Beautiful Offering by Angela Thomas. This Bible Study is based on the Sermon on the Mount.
Course Description: Angela encourages women to rekindle their hearts by returning their lives to God. How can an imperfect life with blemishes and scars reflect back to God a true gratefulness for His love? Jesus knows you are not perfect, but He also knows that you are made perfect in Him, if only you will come and surrender to Him daily.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus gives us His compassionate instruction for everyday living and then wraps His teaching with the promise of His blessing. "Jesus wants us to learn to live in a way that reflects the kingdom of God to the world, to live as a woman with a kingdom heart," writes Angela. "I truly want to be that woman. And Jesus says that when you are, it’s beautiful and blessed."
Childcare is available for both sessions. For further information, please call the Women's Ministries office at 255-8113.

Mentoring and Discipleship Ministry
If you feel God's nudge to be a mentor and share in another woman's life by using what God has done in your life to encourage and assist her in the glorious walk of a Christian woman...
or
If you are a woman who has been feeling the need to talk to another Christian woman who has "been in your shoes" and with God's help made it through and who wants to support and encourage you as a mentee at this time in your Christian life...
Please call women's ministries at 901-255-8113.
Mentoring and Discipleship Mission Statement:
Mentoring may encompass discipleship, encouragement, and accountability, both spiritually and practically for the Christian woman. A mentoring relationship that encompasses discipleship is the process by which a Christian woman commits herself for an extended length of time to disciple an individual who has been won to Christ. Discipleship will be a vital part of the Women Mentoring Women relationships at Central Church.
The purpose of this relationship is to guide others to continually seek God through Prayer, the study of His Word, and by the leadership of the Holy Spirit to apply His precepts in their daily walk as they develop a servant's heart.
