Anne Clay is the Director of Children’s Ministries. She and her husband Tim have three children: Jessica, Timothy (married to Allison), BJ (married to Whitney), and a grandson Caleb Danger Clay. Anne has a large collection of colored feathers which she freely shares with kids every summer at Camp Tsungani, where she is known as Chief Burning Embers.

Dustin May is the Director of Student Ministries at Central Church and has been on staff since 2004. He is married to Mary Jane, who volunteers in Student Ministries, teaching the freshman girls in Sunday school. While he gets excited about the Mississippi State Bulldogs, SEC Football and running, he is most passionate about being a disciple that makes disciples.

Ellen Olford, the Director of Women’s Ministries is married to Dr. David Olford. They have a daughter, Lindsay, a student at Union University, and Stephanie, in high school at SBEC. She loves to teach women the Word and encourage women to put feet to their faith.

Gene Sauls is Director of Men’s Ministries and Membership and teaches the Galilean Connecting Point Class. He and his wife, Amy, have one child, Barry, who lives in Bartlett, TN., and two granddaughters, Savannah, age 2, and Sydney, 9 months. Gene spends as much time as possible with his granddaughters and also enjoys working in his yard, reading, and playing golf.

J.P. is the Executive Pastor and CEO of Central Day School. J.P. and Cheryl are the blessed parents of Carmen, John Paul, Pierce, Eleanor, and Gina. They are also the proud grandparents of Adeline, William, and Emily.

Jo Ann Harris is the Director of Senior Adult Ministries. She is responsible for activities and programs that mentor, encourage, and empower Senior Adults. Jo Ann has been on staff since 1971. She and her husband, Eron, have one married daughter and three grandchildren.

Randall joined the staff in 1980 and has served in several capacities over the years. He is married to Mary Ann and they have four grown children with families of their own. He enjoys racquetball and rock music.

Roy Hendrick is the Pastoral Care and Hospital Visitation Pastor. He also teaches the Life’s Potential Senior Adult Connecting Point Class. He is married to Ginger and has two married sons, Jonathan and Leah, and Andrew and Katie. Andrew and Katie are also at Central, and he is on Tech Team here. Roy loves the ministry to people, and teaching the Bible.

Rev. Sam D. Wiley is Director of Discipleship and Evangelism and teacher of the Helpmates Connecting Point Class. Sam is married to Carol and has two sons Marcus and Doug and two granddaughters Cayla and Cari. Sam is a graduate of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and has been on Central’s staff since 1981.

Alicia Miehe is the Administrative Assistant for Senior Adult Ministries. She has been on staff since 1990 and with Senior Adults since 1998. Alicia also works with House of Prayer, Ruth Circle, and Children’s Choir. She has been blessed with two married sons and 5 grandchildren.

Angie Sansone is the Children’s Ministry Coordinator of Main Street Kids (first through third grades). She is also the Kidz Klub Coordinator. She is married to Derek and has a daughter in college and a son in high school. She has recently achieved her long time wish to be a Chief at Camp Tsungani, one of her favorite places.

Billy Egner is a Pastoral Ministries Counselor. He has a son, Isaiah, and a dog, Mr. Darcy, which leaves his wife, Sarah, outnumbered 3 to 1 in male to female ratio in the house. As a family they enjoy neighborhood walks and watching a variety of sports (mostly NBA).

Carlene Boldizar is the Manager of the Crosswalk bookstore, a ministry owned by Central Church. She is married to George and has one son, Brad. Carlene has been involved in various ministries at Central for 27 years, previously serving as a coordinator in the Children’s ministry. Carlene loves to read and enjoys cooking.

Daniel works in our IT department. He is married to Marilyn and they have one daughter, Sylvie. He loves to figure things out, which comes in very handy when it comes to information technology.

Don Brock is Associate Pastor of Senior Adult Visitation, a ministry to ensure that seniors, and their adult children, make wise and informed decisions regarding their need for personal care. As a Certified Geriatric Care Manager, Don was raised by loving Christian Grandparents and has a deep heart-felt desire that our senior adults be provided with the quality of life and spiritual care they desire and deserve in their golden years. Doris Lyles is Receptionist for the Family Life Center, and is active in a small group as well as a greeter on Sunday mornings. She helps teach a needle art class with the Sr. Adult ministry. She has one son Shannon. She enjoys traveling, reading and fellowship with her family and friends. In her spare time she experiment with gardening.

Jacke is responsible for stewardship, and accounts payable for Central Day School and the Crosswalk. She and her husband Kenny have two children, Scott and Julie. Jacke enjoys gardening in God’s greenhouse, Italian cooking and chering for the Tigers at University of Memphis basketball games.

Janell O’Leary has been on staff since 2000 and served as an Administrative Assistant to Student Ministries since 2003. She is married to Sean and they have two preschool age children, Liam and Lily Kate. Growing up at Central Church, she feels very blessed to be a part of the team here. When she is not chasing children around, she enjoys running and Memphis Tiger basketball.

Jean Brunson is a counselor at Central Church. She works predominately with women and children. She authored and coordinates Growing Seasons, divorce and grief recovery support groups for children ages 4-12. She adapted and coordinates Empowering Kids for Life, small groups that teach children addiction prevention principles. This program has been introduced through missionaries to17 countries. Jean is married to elder Cecil Brunson. Her family consists of her daughter, Angela, and her son, Kevin and his wife, also named Angela.

Jenny is the Children’s Music Director. She is married to Gary and has 3 girls, Kelly, Angie, and Kari. She was a music teacher in the Memphis City School, San Diego County schools and Shelby County Schools until she took the position at Central in 1986. Her passion is to help all children to a lifestyle of praise and worship by using creative musical concepts to teach spiritual truths.

John Andrew Clayton is the Student Ministries Associate and has been on staff since March of 2010. He has grown up at Central, coming through the Student Ministries Department. John Andrew and Christy recently got married in December of 2011. He loves working with students and being able to invest in their lives as they are following Jesus, learning about His Kingdom and what it means to be disciples who make disciples together!

Karen Ferguson is the coordinator for the Parents Day Out & Preschool. She oversees the day to day operation of the preschool. She is married to Jerry and they have four sons. The older two sons are currently serving in the US Coast, the 3rd son will graduate High School this year and the 4th son will graduate from Middle school. Karen and Jerry are both actively involved with the Student Ministry and serve as small group leaders for the high school. Jerry is the Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 257 here at Central Church.

Karon Reed is the Adult Ministries Administrative Assistant supporting Rev. Sam Wiley and Dr. Randall Johnson. She is married to Dave Reed. They have 5 adult children and 5 grandchildren living in other cities, so she spends most of her spare time on the road traveling to see family. Being a grandma is the most fun she’s ever had!

Kathy Ellison is the Administrative Assistant supporting Rev. Gene Sauls and Rev. Terry Burnside.  Kathy enjoys relating and sharing the radical love of Christ which is best demonstrated through her genuine caring that radiates through her warm welcoming smile and thoughtfulness. Kathy draws her strength from her extremely close family; her son Blake, siblings, and parents who have been married for over 60 years.

Keith oversees the day to day event setups, purchasing of supplies, and maintenance of vendor relationships. He is married to Amy Mylum, who is one of our PDO Teachers. They have two Boys, Zachary and Brantley. In his spare time you can find him with his family; usually at the pool,lake,or beach.

Kellye Ganier is an assistant coordinator for the Parents Day Out & Preschool. She is responsible for the educational needs for the threes, fours, and fives in our program. Kellye is a former CDS teacher and currently teaches in our transition room. She is married to Alex and they have 3 children: a son and daughter who attend CDS and a daughter who is in PDO.

Kevin Gordon is the Children’s Ministry Coordinator of the Core (grades four through six). He is married to Liz and has 2 children, Joy and Caleb. Kevin began serving in Children’s Ministry as a child helping his dad. He enjoys moonlit nights and holding his wife’s hand as they stroll by quiet lakes as gentle breezes blow through their hair and their children bicker and fight about who found the rock first.

Linda serves as a counselor at Central and has a passion for instilling hope into hurting families and marriages. Linda and her husband Mark have been married for 26 years and have 5 children ranging in ages 21-11.

Lisa Conley is the Missions Ministry Assistant. Lisa is married to Joel and has 4 children. She is blessed to be a part of mobilizing others to pray for, support and reach the nations for Christ.

Marlo Bratton is the Assistant Director of Women’s Ministry. She is married to Randy. She has two daughters Allie 10 and Abby 8 and her 18 year old son, Rhodes, is entering college this fall. Marlo enjoys watching her kids play sports, going out with friends and encouraging women in their walk with the Lord.

Marshall Provine is the Family Life Center and 400 office relief receptionist, as well as maintenance assistant and printer for bulletin inserts. He is married to Deborah and has one daughter, Lindsey, who has twins, Hayden and Ashlyn. He likes sports, UT football, University of Memphis basketball and Cardinal baseball. Marshall assists wherever needed.

Missi Tolosa is the Children’s Ministry Coordinator of Route 252 & KidzCentral. She is married to T.J. and has 2 children, Jacelyn & Joshua. Missi likes to cook and on occasion can be found twirling her fire batons.

Nancy is the coordinator of hospital visitation, benevolence and a number of other caring responsibilities, as well as some functions in the missions department. She and her husband, Coley, have four children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She loves her family and people but loves her Lord above all. She volunteers in Children’s Ministry and in missions.

Nancy was born in Portland, Maine, her father was in Air Force and she has lived as far

away as Japan. She has two daughters, both married and 6 grandchildren, 3 boys and 3 girls ranging fron 2.5 years to 22 yrs. Three of them are in college. She loves the Lord with all my heart and soul and is ready to serve where needed. She has worked the front desk, in finance, PDO, FLC and Women’s Ministries and has been on staff since 1993.

Ron Blackard has been employed by Central Church since 1982. He is the director of the Central Learning Center, our preschool ministry to the community. Ron is sometimes known as Crazy Eagle, his Camp Tsungani name. You may see Ron riding his bicycle to and from work.

Rusty Artz is the Accounting Manager. He has a lovely wife, Melody, who he has been married to for 23 years and four children; Joshua (married to Michelle), Andrew (with the Olive Branch police Dept), Jonathan (works part-time at Central Learning Center) and Janie (to attend John Brown University in Fall 2011). Drop by Rusty’s office and partake from his M&M candy jar, see his Elvis clock and if you are fortunate he will show you the two Yo-Yo tricks he knows with his genuine Duncan Yo-Yo.

Sean Stark is the part-time technical ministry’s gopher. His jobs include asking people “have you restarted your computer,” telling people “you should talk to Tim,” and trying to figure out which button looks like the right one to press.

Sharon Leffingwell is the Children’s Ministry Coordinator for Front Street Friends (preschool/kindergarten children). She has 2 children, Cy 12 and Hannah 9. In her spare time she loves to read, keep up with friends on Facebook, and watch University of Tennessee football.

Stacey Fleming has been on staff since 1988 and has served in various ministries at Central Church and Central Day School before taking a position as an Administrative Assistant to Women’s Ministries in February. She is married to Jason Fleming and they have two children, Parker and Meghan. She is a graduate of the University of Memphis. When she is not watching Parker play basketball or Meghan play soccer, she enjoys running, teaching seventh grade girls Sunday School, Grizzlies basketball, hanging with her sister, and anything with Jason.

Growing up, Teresa lived in four different states and attended nine different schools. Her husband grew up in Collierville, patiently waiting for her to move here so they could meet, get married, and live happily ever after.

Tracy Manning Hood is the Director of Publications. She has one son, Parker, who is 10 years old. She teaches part-time at the University of Memphis and is currently working on her PhD in Health Communication. She loves to read, travel, and watch her son play soccer.

Tracy Trexler is the Children’s Ministry Coordinator of the Backyard (nursery). She is married to Scott and they have four children: Alex 10, Tasha 9, Zach 2, and Carson 1. Tracy grew up at Central and began serving in Children’s Ministry during high school. Her favorite pastimes are reading, scrapbooking, swimming and spending time with her family.

Trisha Walker is an assistant coordinator for Parents Day Out & Preschool. She is responsible for the well being of the infants, ones, and two year olds in our program. She is a registered Pediatric Nurse and works in our PDO class room 2- 3 days a week. She also works part time in her Pediatrician’s office. She is married to David and has 3 school age daughters at CDS.

Whitney Clay is the Junior High Youth Pastor at Central Church and has been on staff since 2003. She is married to BJ Clay, who volunteers in Student Ministries along side her. She loves working with students of all ages to see them fall in love with Jesus and learn what it really means to be His disciples.
