Providing a safe space for singles to fellowship with each other
Matt Castro

I am married to Lisa Castro. We have three children, Maggie, Lincoln, Teddy. I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. I am a graduate of Collierville High School, Class of 2002 and the University of Tennessee and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I love all things British. I enjoy a good cup of coffee, a good book, and a beautiful autumn day. My family and I snow ski, disc golf, and cheer for the Vols on Saturdays.

About the Singles Ministry
- The Singles Ministry exists to walk alongside singles for the glory of God.
Young Adults (The Way) | Ages 18-26
The Way meets at Central Church on Sunday nights from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. You’re invited to come any and all Sunday nights that you’re available! Visit the Young Adults page for more information.
Single Adults | Ages 27+
Single adults who are ages 27+ will meet regularly for encouragement, fellowship, and time in God’s Word.
This group meets Sundays at 9:15 AM in Room 1261. We are focused on discipleship, spiritual growth, and fellowship with other believers going through the season of singleness. We are not a matchmaking group, we are all about growing into His likeness and being prepared for service to the Church and His Kingdom.
Widows/Widowers Ministry
Our widow’s ministry meets the needs of widows and widowers through our deacon ministry. Each widow is assigned a deacon couple to help minister to spiritual and physical needs as they arise. This group also gathers for fellowship four times per year. If you would like to be put on the list of widows and/or widowers to receive care and fellowship, please contact Gus Schroeder through the form below.
