Prayer
Prayer
There’s an old saying that we 100% believe. Prayer is not the least we can do, it’s the most we can do. That’s why prayer is one of our 8 core values: Since our mission is not humanly possible, we embrace our utter dependence on the Holy Spirit through continual prayer.
On this page, we encourage you to submit your own prayer requests, and know that we have a prayer team who is praying over you. But we also encourage you to lift up the other prayer requests that you see here as well.
Additionally, you can click the button below to see a list of prayer requests that our pastors, elders, and staff have requested the Central family pray over.
Frank & LaShon McNeil
I shared a prayer request at the beginning of July for Hadley Cummings, a sweet little girl that was diagnosed with kidney cancer. I wanted to provide an update as well as ask for continued prayers....
The staging of her cancer came back, and it was Stage 1. Answered prayer for certain. She has begun a chemo regimen that is on a scale of 1-10, it is a 7-8 for harshness. Her chemo treatment is out patient 1 day per week for 2 weeks and then on the 3rd week she is inpatient for a 5 day treatment. Today marks her first inpatient treatment.
The family has asked specific prayers (1) For her heart, mind, soul and body to rest and heal; (2) That God would continue to sustain, help and uphold her, (3) That she and her family would be marked by supernatural peach and joy that can only point to the faithful loving kindness of God; (4) no mouth sores, nausea or vomiting; (5) no significant drops in blood pressure or bleeding from the etoposide; (6) That Haley would have an appetite, as she hasn't wanted to eat for several days; (7) that the chemo doesn't cause any leukemia or infertility as these are potential side effects; (8) That Haley will not be afraid - that she will feel and know in her heart that God loves her, is sustaining her, helping her and upholding her; and lastly (9) for the team that is taking care of her - that God will use them as vessels to heal little Hadley.
Thank you Central Family!
