Vision
What is Central’s Vision?
Central’s mission is to multiply & mature disciples. Every year, Pastor Matt lays out goals for Central to ensure we are constantly staying on mission.

Sermon Based Small Groups
Small groups are the lifeblood of Central, and where you are most likely to find lifelong relationships.
Instead of focusing wide and doing multiple studies, we believe families will benefit most from intentionally focusing on Sunday’s message and diving deeper into that week’s scripture.

Missions Strategy (Acts 1:8 Model)
This year, we want to be intentonal in supporting our local and international ministry partners. We also want to inspire our church family to take part in missions and share the gospel with our neighborhood and the nations.
A great way to do that is by checking out a Short-Term Missions Trip, and seeing what God is doing in Collierville and beyond.
Central’s missions are structured around four geographic areas, reflecting a biblical model of outreach from local to global impact. Each area has leadership teams and a clear focus for spreading the gospel.
a. Local (Collierville & Mid-South)
Description:
Focused on compassion ministries like feeding programs and community outreach, demonstrating Christ’s love through practical service.
b. Regional (Tri-State Area)
Description:
Partners with nearby churches to plant and strengthen gospel-centered congregations across surrounding states.
c. National (North America)
Description:
Supports church planting and partnerships across the U.S. and Canada to reach diverse communities.
d. Global (World)
Description:
Invests in international missions to reach unreached people groups and multiply disciples worldwide.
Next Gen Ministry
It’s no secret that Collierville revolves around it’s schools. We share Collierville’s commitment to the next generation, and want to be the place that every student wants to go to. By equipping our next generation to share their faith outside the church walls, we believe they will be inspired to grow in their relationship with God.
For 2026, we are continuing to invest heavily in Children’s Ministry, Student Ministry, the Young Adult ministry. We are also excited to announce the launch of Central’s Exceptional Needs Ministry.
Increase Generosity
Hosting gospel-centered events and weekly services requires resources, and we believe that God will provide. However, we also know that it takes more than showing up every week to be sold out on our mission to multiply and mature disciples. Through giving, we’ve seen our church family take ownership of Central’s mission and commit to sharing the gospel.

The church is off to a strong start for the 2025–2026 fiscal year, with continued generosity from members. There is $2.9 million remaining on building debt, and members are encouraged to engage with tools like Financial Peace University.
