What do I need to know?

What does your weekly service look like?

We have two identical services at 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. We also have activities and programs for your kids and students (and even grandparents!) Visit our ministries page to find out more about our specific ministries for all ages.

We do everything we can to remove all other distractions so that we can focus our attention on worshiping God. So, every week we worship through music, prayer, giving, and the teaching of God’s word. Practically speaking, our services last about 80 minutes. There are segments in our service that consist of praise music, praying to God, giving ministry updates, and preaching from the Bible.

For an example of what our services look like, you can watch this video.

What do I wear?

You’ll find everything from suits and ties to blue jeans and tshirts at Central. Feel free to dress in whatever makes you comfortable (except maybe pajamas).

Where do I park?

We have entrances both on Winchester Blvd. and Houston Levee Road. If this is your first time, it would be best to come into the east entrance on Winchester Blvd. and follow the signs to guest parking. Guest parking is located closest to the building in the center. Enter the doors on either side of the welcome banner to find Guest Services. Here you will be greeted by a friendly face to answer any questions you have about where to go, where your kids will go, and anything else you need to know.

What do you have for kids?

We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week. Central Kids is the place for kids on Sunday morning and during the week. Your kids will learn what God and the Bible are all about while surrounded by adults who are committed to providing a safe, fun environment. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for children.

FAQ

What kind of church is Central?

Central Church is all about helping people find and follow Jesus. We believe that the scripture holds the answers to life and salvation. Through scripture, we can know God’s will for our lives. We focus everything on Jesus, learning straight from the Bible, and connecting with our community.

Practically speaking, we are a nondenominational church, meaning we have no ties with other denominations. Our services are focused on teaching straight from the Bible. While we may reference other material, the Bible is our go-to source for understanding God.

Our church is led by pastors and elders, and you can find out more at www.centralchurch.com/meet-our-team

Where are you located?

We are located at 2005 Winchester Boulevard in Collierville. The church is easily accessible by entering from the East entrance on Winchester Blvd. (the entrance closest to Baily Station Rd). We’re just north of Bill Morris Parkway (385).

What time should I arrive?

Our services begin at 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. If you have children with you, it can take up to 15 minutes to walk from your car to the building, check your children in, and then walk to our Worship Center. Additionally, if you have any questions or need help finding your way around, it may be a good idea to arrive even earlier so that you do not feel rushed.

What do you have for my teenagers?

We believe that students are more than their grades and after-school activities. We believe they are the next generation of worshipers. Our staff and volunteers desire to guide students in their developing years into a life-changing relationship with Christ. Whether through Sunday morning worship classes, retreats, or crazy weekly activities, we engage your students in a personal and positive way. Both High School and Middle School students meet Sunday at 9:15 a.m. in the Student Center. If you need help finding the Student Center, our Guest Services table and other volunteers would be happy to help.

What do you have for me?

We believe that church should be more than a group of people hanging out in the same building. As Christians, we gather together to glorify God. One of the best ways we can do that is through building each other up and teaching one another.

We have a variety of classes and groups that help you learn more about who God is, get to know each other better, and apply the Bible to your life.
